What do I do if my Coach is not interested in using the info from your app?

We understand that our product and approach might feel uncomfortable to those that look at player development the way it has always been done – meaning Coaches watch players and provide their insight (time and experience allowing), which then drives training – simple, but at times very subjective and not very scientific. We also know Coaches cannot be everywhere or see everything at once. And a smart Coach uses all the resources available to make them more effective and accelerate the growth of their players. So, if your Coach doesn’t like the idea of using our tools that is OK. You might still choose to use them independently and if your Coach sees a difference in your progress they might just come around. No need to force them on anyone. Respect is a core value in all sports. And respect for your Coach is paramount. Remember the adage – you get more flies with honey than vinegar. Stay positive and respectful and train hard regardless of the approach you take.

What do I do if my Coach is not interested in using the info from your app?

Historically, good scientific data and analysis to help define an athlete’s unique needs and drive their development has just not been available, especially at the youth level of the sport. Many coaches love the insight our platform provides and are impressed with the accelerated development athletes on our platform enjoy. Some coaches may prefer an alternate approach. Either is, of course, acceptable. The game of baseball is built on respect. And respect for your Coach is paramount. If your coach is not interested in these new tools that is fine. Your job as an athlete is to stay positive, be respectful and train hard. The results will show for themselves.
